🚔Engineer In Riyadh Sentenced To Jail And Fined Thousands For Practicing Without Professional Accreditation

• A Saudi court sentenced an engineer in Riyadh to six months in jail and fined him SR50,000 for working without professional accreditation, while the hiring company was fined SR100,000 for employing him.

• The Saudi Council of Engineers, led by Secretary General Eng. Abdul Mohsen Al-Majnouni, caught the unaccredited engineer during an inspection and referred both him and the company to prosecution.

• Al-Majnouni stressed the importance of obtaining professional accreditation to legally practice engineering in Saudi Arabia and warned against misusing professional titles
